Thomas Jefferson quote

"I think we have more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on the labor of the industrious."

A good quote

I'm not positive what the exact quote is but I was listening to an interview on the radio this morning on my way to work. Jan Mickelson had Stephen Covey on his show talking to him about his new book that was released today. The quote was something along the lines of:
You can't talk your way out of something you behaved your way in to.

I think that's fantastic. Covey went on to talk about how you must behave your way out of things you've behaved your way in to and elaborated on how words alone won't cut it.
This is fitting in so many ways right now. From politics (I'm looking at you Sen. Obama) to occurrences in my daily life it is just a perfect thought to meditate on.
